Gators Give Back

This is week 3 of our third-annual Gators Give Back campaign. This is an exciting time during the school year when we all remember how important it is to give back to our community. This week we will be donating items for Pets Inc. Below is a list of items we are collecting:

  • tennis balls
  • pet toys
  • collars & leashes
  • liquid dish detergent
  • laundry detergent
  • rubber gloves
  • paper towels
  • cotton swabs
  • blanket
  • towels
  • wash cloths

Save the Date: Miss MGMS Gator Pageant

The 2015 Miss MGMS Gator Pageant will be held on Saturday, March 14. This is a pageant with a purpose. ALL proceeds go to Relay for Life. Girls in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade are invited to participate. Applications will be available the first week of February.

Crew Celebrations Wednesday, 12/17

Ask your student gators about their crew celebration this week! We are excited about all the fun we will have!

Friday, 12/19

Students will be dismissed at 12:00 on Friday!

ELA (Grade Level): Test on simple, compound, complex sentences Thursday, 12/18

ELA (Acc): Greek Roots Test, Monday, 12/15 (Retest Wednesday, Thursday before school or during lunch)

Test on simple, compound, complex sentences Thursday, 12/18

Math (Grade Level): Chapter 6 Assessment is Tuesday, December 18

Chapter 6 Retake (if needed) is Thursday, December 18

Math (Acc): Course 2, Chapter 2 Assessment is Tuesday, December 16

Chapter 2 Assessment Retake (if needed) is Thursday, December 18

Science: Science will be completing an in class Animal research project that will be due on Thursday. Students should be able to complete the project during class time.

Social Studies: Students in social studies will turn in their DBQ's between Wednesday and Thursday.

World Language Novice A French/Spanish: None

World Language 6th French Immersion: None

World Language Novice A Latin: Interpretive Summative assessment on the 1st and 2nd declension nouns and adjective

World Language Novice B2: None

World Language Novice B3: None

World Language Novice C2: None
