Mrs. Gove's Class

Friday, May 6

Last Day of School Information

The last day of school is Friday, May 13th. Elementary students will dismiss at 12:30 on this day. Tiger STRIPES will only be available to students who are regularly enrolled in STRIPES on this afternoon. If your child does not attend STRIPES Monday-Thursday, he/she will need to ride the bus or be picked up at 12:30. Students will eat lunch before going home, and we will celebrate our last day together with class picnics. Students may bring a lunch from home on this day, but will still have the opportunity to purchase a special picnic lunch from the school cafeteria. This lunch will be served to students in a fun summer sand pail they will be able to take home.

Summer School

Have you considered summer school for your student? If not, you should! I know they have a lot of fun and exciting learning opportunities planned for the kids.

CLICK HERE to see details and registration information regarding this year's summer school offerings. Registration will be online only, and the deadline to enroll will be May 6.

Keep in mind, students will be enrolled in the grade level they will attend for the 2016-2017 school year (EX: current 5th graders will enroll at RMS as 6th graders, current 8th graders will enroll at RHS as 9th graders). This means that incoming kindergarten students are eligible to enroll as well!

Breakfast and lunch will be provided FREE of charge for all children 18 and under. We are excited to be offering Spanish as a special class for our elementary students! Transportation will not be provided by the district.

Summer school will take place Monday through Friday using the below schedule:

Elementary: May 31-June 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. (Kindergarten pick-up at 2:50 p.m.)

RHS and RMS: May 31-June 23 from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Congratulations to Arieonna for being voted by her classmates as the Student of the Month!
