Marvelous March

Dear Astro Families,

As you know, this will be my last year at Ladd Acres. I want to thank all of you for making the last 6 years of my career memorable and fabulous. I cannot say it enough...Ladd is a VERY special place. I am proud of our hardworking students, dedicated staff and welcoming community. Your next leader will be blessed, as I have been, to be here. That being said, I am focused on making Ladd's 50th year, the most amazing and memorable year to date!

Exciting times are in store for Ladd as we move into March. Please see below for upcoming events.Looking forward to a terrific month of learning, growing and love.

Have a fantastic, fun March!

With warm regards,

Learning at Home

Please make sure you check the lost and found bin before Spring Break! There are so many jackets, hoodies and other items ready to go home. Items left in the bin will be donated to a local charity.

Parking Lot Safety

We appreciate your patience with the changes of our parking lot. As you know, our parking lot gets pretty busy at the end of the day.

We have been asked by the Hillsboro Police Department to remind you that it is illegal to park or stop in the bike lane on Cornelius Pass. Please know that tickets can be given if cars are stopped there.

Here are a few suggestions that may help:

  • Choose to come a few minutes later to stagger the arrival of drivers. Adults stay with children until they have all been picked up.

  • If available, have your child ride the bus.

  • Circle around the block.

We apologize for the inconvenience. It takes teamwork between the school and parents to make our after-school pick-up successful. Thank you so much for your cooperation!
