Dear Parents/Guardians,
As we get closer to the start of school, I want to make sure you have all of the information you need to prepare for the fall. Last week, I sent out a welcome letter with A LOT of information. I have posted this to the Dewing School FB page as well as the website. The following information is very important as we streamline our dismissal process:
Dismissals-Pickup Patrol-An email has been sent to your primary parent/guardian email address directly from Pickup Patrol. Please set up your account this week so we have updated information on how your child will be getting to and from school. If you have more than one child at the Dewing, as long as your primary email address is the same, you should be able to access both children. Since this program is relatively new to us, please also communicate your dismissal plan to your child's homeroom teacher.
Parent pickups-Please print off your dismissal tag for your car(s) prior to the first dismissal. (Pick up Patrol does NOT allow parents to do this, so I have attached a template below)

In case you did not see this important information in last week's welcome letter:
Lunch for students with nut allergies: As we are no longer spacing students apart in the cafeteria, there will be a designated nut free table in the cafeteria for students with nut allergies. If your child has a nut allergy and you wish to OPT OUT and have your child sit with their classmates, please email me in writing stating that you would like to opt out of placement at the nut free lunch table (abosworth@tewksbury.k12.ma.us). Please be advised, if your child does sit with their peers at the assigned homeroom table, we will not be able to monitor the presence of nuts or other allergens brought to the table by other students.
