⭐ GOLD FIGHT WIN Day in Humble ISD is Friday, September 15 ⭐
You can show your support throughout the month of September by wearing gold! Families can purchase GFW shirts at Ace Hardware at both Kingwood and Atascocita locations and Pretty Little Things in Kingwood. Campuses or organizations can make bulk orders (25 or more) here.

CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL "GO GOLD" TOY DRIVE
The Atascocita Patriettes are collecting toys for kids at Texas Children’s Hospital affected by cancer. Donation boxes are located on the AHS campus outside of the library and outside of the dance room, and at Eagle Springs Elementary.

UNCF HOUSTON WALK FOR EDUCATION, SEPT 9
Join UNCF on Saturday, September 9, for the UNCF Houston Walk for Education - walk, run, health & wellness, refreshments, entertainment, and more! During this event, students and their families can speak with the UNCF Outreach & Program Services national team to obtain free resources, college readiness toolkits, and learn more about UNCF scholarship opportunities.
Students visiting this information booth will also be eligible for a chance to win a free laptop!* (certain criteria apply)

HUMBLE ISD SUICIDE AWARENESS & PREVENTION WALK, SEPT 13
Join us for a community event to rally around Suicide Awareness and Prevention at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13, at Turner Stadium. Students, staff and community members will walk side-by-side to bring awareness to suicide, honor lost loved ones, and create a supportive and stigma-free culture. This is a free event. SCHS THEATRE PRESENTS PRINCESS & PIRATE TEA PARTY, SEPT 16
The SCHS Theater invites you to a Princess & Pirate Tea Party from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 16, at Summer Creek High School. This dress up party hosted by the Playhouse officers is geared towards K-5th grade. Come enjoy face painting, crafts, snacks, and photos with real life Princesses and Pirates! The cost is $25 per child.

LONE STAR COLLEGE LEADERSHIP HIGH SCHOOL, SIGN UP BY SEPT 22
Lone Star College Leadership High School (LHS) is currently accepting applications for the 2023-24 year. LHS is a leadership development, community awareness, and civic engagement program for sophomore and junior high school students who attend public school and live in the LSC service area. The program is free and the deadline to apply is September 22, 2023.

Children ages 5 -15 are invited to a SCHS Future Starlette Clinic from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, September 23, at Summer Creek High School. Performance will be 6 p.m. on Friday, September 29. Pre-sale is $50, week of price is $55.
AHS ROCKET CAMP, OCT 2
Atascocita High School invites 3rd-6th grade students to Rocket Camp from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, October 2, at the AHS campus. Come build and launch a rocket, play games and more! The cost is $45 per child. Email Amy.Keesecker@humbleisd.net for more information.

AFTER SCHOOL CARE BY THE YMCA
The YMCA After School Program makes the most of your child's after school time by offering active learning opportunities designed to engage and expand young minds. After school care is offered Monday through Friday from school dismissal through 6:30 p.m. at all Humble ISD elementary schools.
