Alta Vista Garden
Parents, please let your children know that this is not a play area. Students should only be in the garden if they are accompanied with a teacher. Please help us to keep the garden beautiful for everyone.
If your family would like to volunteer to work in the garden on the weekend, please contact Mrs. Bailey.
Kindergarten Reminder
Because Kindergarten is dismissed at 1:40, it can be tempting to use the time immediately afterwards to visit with friends on the grass in front of the school. Unfortunately, the laughter of the children and noise from adult conversations has gotten increasingly louder. It is now disrupting classes that are still in session with their doors open, as well as Kindergarten teachers who are in meetings. We’d like to suggest that the group meets elsewhere, such as a local park (Howes Play Lot is nearby and lots of fun), where children do not need to be so conscious about their noise and can enjoy each others company. Thank you.
Two Days Until Alta Vista's Monster Marathon
