- Be prepared. Write down any questions or concerns you may have before you attend the conference.
- Ask questions about your child's strengths and weaknesses. Don't be afraid to ask clarifying questions about anything you many not understand.
- Follow through with any steps agreed upon by you and the teacher to help your child be more successful at school.
Lost and Found
- The Bingham Lost and Found has moved to the hooks outside the Cafeteria. Please be sure to check the Lost and Found as all remaining items will be donated to the PTA Clothing Bank in mid-October.
- Please consider labeling your child's jackets, sweaters, hoodies, lunch boxes, etc.
Equity and Access
Hello Bingham Families. I am Mrs. Squibb, I teach 3rd grade here at Bingham, and I’m also our site’s Equity and Access Champion. In this role, my job is to:
· Provide site support for creating a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for all individuals regardless of race, sex, religion, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, class, and age.
· Work with staff and families to plan activities to acknowledge, increase awareness, and celebrate diversity within Bingham.
· Provide trainings to staff about relevant strategies and how best to address the needs of our diverse students, families, and staff.
This is my third year as Bingham’s Equity Champion. This year, we are being challenged to inform parents about our role and inquire about possible ways we might support parents too. It takes a village to educate and care for children. Parent-teacher relationships are integral to a student’s growth. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Thank you!

Birthdays
We understand birthdays are a special time for students. However, per district protocol, please do not send cupcakes, balloons, and/or flowers to school as these are considered a disruption. Thank you for understanding.
If you have any questions regarding birthday celebrations, please contact Ms. Terri at 523-3400.
Giving Back to Our Community
Congratulations to Mr. Tracy who is getting married!!! And in case you were ever wondering about his beard...
How long have you been growing your beard?
I have had some sort of facial hair growing since sophomore year of high school. My current beard is about 4 years old.
What organizations does the beard club support?
The beard club I’m a part of is called Queen City Beard and Moustache Federation. We have volunteered at numerous events and have donated to a variety of charities. Some of the charities that we have helped out include Haven of the Ozarks Animal Sanctuary, Ozark Food Harvest, the Gathering Friends, Springfield Community Gardens and the Bass Pro Outdoor Fitness Festival benefiting Big Brothers, Big Sisters.
Why is this organization important to you?
Queen City and the bearding community is important to me because it has allowed me to meet a lot of interesting people and go to a lot of fun places. I also get to help people while I’m having fun competing at the beard competitions. All the money that is raised at the competitions goes to a charity. The last competition I competed at we raised $2,000.
From the Office
If your child is going to be absent, please contact the office. Otherwise, Ms. Terri or Dr. Tarrasch will be calling you. This is important information that we must document each day.
If you need to make different arrangements for your child's end of the day pick-up, please do so prior to 3:15 PM.
We have a new entrance! Please use the side doors that enter in front of Ms. Terri's office.
