Updated Mask Information
Indoors remains the same: masks on at all times unless students are either eating in designated indoor spaces at breakfast and lunch, or they are following the indoor mask break protocol.
Outdoors: When outside, we will continue to encourage social distancing; however, in accordance with state guidance, students are not required to wear a mask outdoors regardless of their ability to maintain social distance. When outside, students will always have the option to wear a mask if they choose. This includes lunch, mask breaks, physical education, and outdoor learning. When outside, staff members may choose to remove their masks if they feel they can maintain 6 feet of social distance from students and colleagues.
Athletics: Student athletes will follow MIAA guidance which allows students to compete outdoors without a mask if permissible under their sport-specific modifications. When visiting other communities for competition, HHS will follow that district’s local guidance.
