Professional Learning Exchange Days
Thank you for your continued work and communication as the PLED process continues to improve each year.
Please note the 3-hour Special Education Requirement as described in the PLED Guidelines (Excluding Reading Academies Participants).
Please note that new-to-AISD teachers, librarians, elementary counselors, and instructional coaches attending the Teacher Induction Program (TIP) Welcome Week (August 1-4) will receive their full PLED hours, including the Special Education component.
Please note that calendars for 2022-2023 for most campus based non-exempt (classified) staff do not list the PLED days (December 22 & 23) as duty days. Those staff members will not report to work on those days. Additional days have been added at the beginning of each calendar to build in and account for virtual and/or in person professional learning to be completed by these employees.
Professional Development Updates
- PPfT Update training is also required of all staff and you have automatically been enrolled. The last activity in the PPfT training will be watching a video and scoring with the rubric. We will complete this tasks together during our BOY PL.
COVID Protocols
Close Contact Definition and Tracing
Campus administrators will notify all families of positive cases on the campus using the updated notification letter. Individual classroom letters will no longer be sent home.
With masking now being optional, all students and staff at the campus may be considered close contacts when there is a positive case identified.
Campus Administrators will not be required to track close contacts.
