Wednesday: Early/Late Start @ 8:20 am; JA Day; Tornado Drill 1 @ 3:30 pm
Thursday: ELA Grade Level Meetings during planning; St. Patrick's Day Pot Luck; I am out of the building for a conference for the day
Just a reminder that this Special's rotation will be THREE weeks long to allow to wrap up the marking period with the same group. We will then change to new groups after Spring Break and with the start of marking period 4.
uROCK
I pulled 5 uROCK names last week at the end of our PLC meeting after most people left; sorry! Congratulations and remember the person awarding the uROCK is the one that receives the prize selection! Black slips are in the mailbox next to the rock box!
Internal Mini-Visit - Tuesday, March 15th
The intent of the building Internal Mini-Visit is to share information about Rankin to those across the district and to allow us to self reflect on our status at Rankin.
JA Day
JA in a Day will be here on Wednesday. As with in the past they will work thru their program within each classroom. They have presenters assigned to each classroom. Art, PE and Science will come into the classrooms during the GAM time so JA may continue with their presentations without interruption. I scheduled it on Wednesday to eliminate the tutors pulling students and SE will be providing inclusion so students do not have to leave the presentations. Should be a great day! You will need to plan flexibly as some groups take all day and others take less (typically the young groups finish earlier).
