About Bill Gates
In 1980 the duo earned their first $50,000 by writing the BASIC interpreter for IBM. Soon this program became very popular and the company introduced Windows on November 20th 1985. Bill Gates earned a great fortune during this process. Microsoft Office was introduced in 1989. Today Microsoft is considered one of the worlds most valuable companies.
Gates became a millionaire by the age of 31. His biggest regret is that he never learned a foreign language. The first computer program he wrote was a tic tac toe game. If Microsoft had failed, Gates would have been an Artificial intelligence researcher. Although Gates is worth $79.3 billion, he says his three kids will only inherit $10 million each. Gates signed a pledge to donate at least half his wealth over the course of time to charity.
