Art Department K-12
Innovators, Reflective Learners, & Critical Thinkers
Our Mission
The Manheim Central Art Department strives to "prepare responsible citizens who are lifelong learners" by providing students the opportunity to be exposed to, experience, and experiment within the artistic process. The MCSD curriculum is founded on the 2014 National Art Standards, which were developed by leading educators and researchers in the Arts Education field. The standards, combined with our mission, provide your student an art education that cultivates creativity, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking-- necessary skills of the 21st Century!
