Final Exam Exemption Guidelines:
Save the date: Plano East Senior High School Prom

The flyer below gives details about our 2019 Senior Prom the “Blossom Ball.” We will share more details about where to go to purchase tickets on line in the coming weeks.
AP Exam Payment:
The cost of each AP exam is $94. Students have 3 options for paying for their AP Exams. Deadline for payment is 5:00 PM April 1, 2019. All unpaid exams will be cancelled after this date.
1) With credit card through a PayPams account (there will a $3 service fee added for each exam ordered and paid for through this method). This method is also open to Students on Free and Reduced lunch (service fee waived).
2) With check
a. Check must be made out to Plano ISD (write student name, student id# and parent driver’s license # on check).
b. Registration confirmation must be printed and returned with check payment.
c. Checks may be submitted to room 2168 and a receipt will be issued.
3) With cash
a. Registration confirmation must be printed and returned with cash payment.
b. Cash may be submitted to room 2168 and a receipt will be issued.
AP Exam Registration (New Users):
Total Registration Sign-in
All students that will be registering for an AP exam this school year must register on-line through Total Registration.
Steps for registering:
1) Sign-on to the computer using your student sign-in.
2) To set up and monitor your account, go to the following website: http://totalregistration.net/AP/445569
3) Create your account using your personal email (please do not use your PISD email account) and your private password (passwords must be at least 8 characters with a mix of letters and numbers)
4) DO NOT PRINT YOUR CONFIRMATION. A copy will be emailed to you or you can print later from the website.
5) If you need to cancel an exam, it MUST be cancelled on-line through this website.
AP Exam Registration (Returning Users):
Total Registration Sign-in
All students that will be registering for an AP exam this school year must register on-line through Total Registration.
Steps for registering:
1) Sign-on to the computer using your student sign-in.
2) Go to: www.totalregistration.net
3) Select “Student Login” from the menu in the upper right hand corner.
4) Enter the email address that you used last year and the password.
5) Forgot your password? See Ms. Marquez (room 2167) for a reset or select “Reset Password”.
6) Update your information, including the exams that you plan to take. Read the refund policy (Note: it has changed this year) and click in the box to accept. Select submit.
7) DO NOT PRINT YOUR CONFIRMATION. A copy will be emailed to you or you can print later from the website.
8) If you need to cancel an exam, it MUST be cancelled on-line through this website.
Intro to Teaching is an elective offered for students interested in majoring in coaching, social work, psychology, pediatric medicine, physical therapy, etc. It provides an internship at the elementary schools. Contact your student's counselor or raylene.eldridge@pisd.edu.
Journalism staff applications (yearbook, newspaper, photojournalism) are due April 1 and require two letters of recommendation. Use the links below to apply and contact abby.cole@pisd.edu for more information.

Cheerleading Tryout Information:
The Plano ISD Council of PTAs has partnered with the Chabad of Plano on an upcoming, low-cost, educational event. The program, “Learning from the Past, Living in the Present, Looking to the Future,” features Eva Schloss, an 89-year-old Holocaust survivor, who will share her memories of her step-sister, Anne Frank. The program takes place at the EISEMANN CENTER on Wednesday, March 27. As a PTA-supported program, the attached flyer is approved to be shared in your electronic newsletters. Please contact the communications department if you have any questions about sharing the attached.
