Parent Chaperone Sign-Up - Make sure to sign up to become a chaperone at BOTH the link and the district volunteer background check. Instructions for this process can be found here. Then, be sure to join our Remind texts for Band Chaperones here.

Our next performance is the Holiday Concert on Thursday, December 15 starting at 6:30pm in the Belton HS Performing Arts Center (PAC). This will be the first performance where students get to perform on stage set up in the whole Beginner's Ensemble, which is all 8 of our beginner classes put together in traditional concert band arcs. In order to prepare for this combined performance, we will be having 2 after school group rehearsals. The first one will be on Monday, December 12 and the second the next day on Tuesday, December 13. Both rehearsals will take place in the Band Hall from 4:00-5:00pm. Students will need to have their ride pick them up by 5pm. A grade will be taken for participation in each of these rehearsals.

Students are preparing for the upcoming Holiday Concert on Thursday, December 15 starting at 6:30pm in the Belton HS PAC (Performing Arts Center). We utilize the STARS Sightreading method for learning to read new music so we can continue to grow in musical literacy.

Students started to prepare for our upcoming Elementary Holiday Tour on Wednesday, December 7 as we visit the 5th graders from Leon Heights, Miller Heights, and Sparta elementary schools.

Our next performance is this Saturday downtown Belton at the Christmas On the Chisholm Trail. Students are allowed to wear Santa hats for this performance along with their Jazz Band uniform. Click here to read the timeline details for Saturday.

Our Jazz Holiday Concert is separate from the full Band Concert, and happens on Tuesday, December 6 starting at 6:30pm in the Belton HS PAC. More details about this performance will be shared soon.
