Reopening Update

We are in the planning stages of reopening which is dependent upon the COVID case rates in Mono County. Once cases are below 25/100,000 for two consecutive reporting periods, we will move forward with the hybrid reopening of Mammoth Elementary School. We met the numbers last week with 17/100,000, and we await updated information tomorrow, February 16, 2020 which will dictate if we are able to reopen March 1 for Tk-2 and March 8 for grades 3-5.

Thank you to all of our families who have filled out the reopening survey. Please keep your eye on Parent Square this week. We will have updated cohort and scheduling assignments available this week. We know there are a lot of questions. We have scheduled two parent meetings to address our reopening.

Parent meetings -Thursday, February 18, 2020.

A parent meeting in English will be held from 4:00-5:00pm. A separate parent meeting in Spanish will be held from 5:00-6:00pm. The MUSD regular board meeting will follow at 6:00pm the same evening. (Zoom information is below in the events at the bottom of the Monday Messenger.)
