Welcome to the 21-22 School Year!
The Academy of Science & Entrepreneurship
Hello Academy Students & Families!
Welcome to The Academy of Science & Entrepreneurship 2021-22 school year! We are looking forward to seeing you walk through our doors in a few days. I’d like to extend a special welcome to the Class of 2025 and all students who are new to The Academy.
As we return this year, we look forward to reconnecting as a school community and renewing our commitment to community partnership. We know at The Academy that we are better when we work together, share ideas and support each other. For this reason, our theme for 2021-2022 is “Better Together.” This means an emphasis on teamwork, collaboration and community connection. We look forward to exploring how teamwork connects to our school-wide learning outcomes of agency, collaboration, written communication, oral communication, and knowledge & thinking. Together we will experience how teamwork enriches our authentic project-based learning environment.
I love being a part of this fantastic learning community, and I’m excited to see what great things we accomplish this year. If you have any questions, please contact me by email (aharmon@mccsc.edu) or by phone (812-330-2480, ext. 50141). And parents, if you or your place of work, is interested in becoming a community partner, please reach out to me.
Enjoy these remaining days of your summer vacation.
Alexis Harmon
Principal
