Schedule Change Requests
If students need to request a schedule change, they must complete the GOOGLE FORM and it must meet one of the following reasons.
The only ACCEPTABLE educational reasons for a schedule change are:
● Seniors who need a course to fulfill a graduation requirement
● An inappropriate level or sequence placement
(i.e. Spanish 3 not 2, AP/Honors to a General Course)
● An obvious error in schedule (i.e. same class twice)
● Prerequisites that have not been fulfilled
● Would like to opt-in to a higher level/ more rigorous version of their current course
(i.e. General Course to AP/Honors)
Schedule changes WILL NOT be made for these reasons:
● Specific teacher request
● Switch sections of the same course to get a different teacher
● Requested change would exceed class size capacity
● Student changed his/her mind
● Desire to have a certain lunch schedule
● Desire to be with friends
● Desire to have a class at a certain time of the day
As a reminder, students must keep a minimum of 6 classes as a freshman, sophomore, and junior and a minimum of 5 classes as seniors.
Thank you,
LSHS Administration

How do I get an account?
Infinite Campus Parent Portal accounts are set up for parents/guardians when you enroll in any school in the district.
If you recently enrolled, look for an automated email from messenger@isd194.org, sent within a few days of when you enrolled your student(s). Follow the Parent Portal access instructions in the email.
I’m not sure if I have an account

Annual Household Check-In
If you need language help to understand this document, call 952-232-3076 or email languagehelp@isd194.org.
Each year, Lakeville Area Schools asks families to complete paperwork to review, confirm and update their household and student information for back-to-school.
Families will be asked to verify contact information, communication preferences, and student health information. Families will also be asked to review and agree to the Acceptable Use Policy for student devices, the iPad loan agreement and their school’s student handbook.
The household check-in for the 2022-23 school year is open now through Sept. 2, 2022.
How to do the Check-In
Please verify your child(ren)’s information through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Below are the steps to complete the Annual Household Check-In process:
Step 1: Log into your Infinite Campus Parent Portal account - Click here to learn how to sign into your parent portal
Step 2: Select MORE from the menu along the left side of the screen
Step 3: Select Annual Household Check In
Step 4: Select Begin Registration
Important information to know before you get started:
- Only one parent/guardian per household will need to complete the Annual Household Check-In process.
- The Annual Household Check-In link is only active for one household per child. If your child has more than one household, the link will be active for the parent/guardian that lives in the household that is currently indicated as the child’s primary household.
Lunch Accounts-Titan
School meals will no longer be free for all students beginning in September as a result of federal waivers expiring.
Households meeting eligibility requirements will continue to receive free meals.
Eligibility can be based upon:
- Income
- Receipt of any of these benefits:
- SNAP
- MFIP
- FDPIR
- Medicaid (School district will be notified by MN Dept. of Human Services)
If you think you may qualify or are interested in applying for Free or Reduced Price Educational Benefits, you can fill out an Application for Educational Benefits beginning on July 1st for the upcoming school year.
Students who qualify for free or reduced benefits may also qualify to receive discounted fees for other district expenses such as bussing or activities. All children in the district benefit in areas beyond the lunch program when qualified applications exceed a certain percentage of the district’s enrollment.
If your family does not qualify for Educational Benefits, please visit the Meal Prices & Payments tab to add money to your student’s Titan account and view meal prices for the 22-23 school year.
PARKING PASS
Parking passes are available for either year-long or semester-long duration. Parking permits are sold for a cost of $225.00 for a year long pass or $125 per semester. Dean
discretion will be used for permitting students to drive. Only students with paid semester parking permits may be allowed to park in the student parking lots. They can be picked up beginning the first day of school or purchased during the semester. For information on how to purchase please click this link: https://www.isd194.org/lshs/parking.
PEACHJAR- LAKEVILLE SOUTH FLYERS
Lakeville Area Schools uses Peachjar to distribute flyers from its schools and community partners to families. Schools, PTOs, boosters and their associations can easily upload and share flyers for upcoming events and programs with their families. Community groups and organizations can submit flyers for District approval and then be distributed to school families too. These flyers are automatically emailed to the inboxes of Lakeville Area Schools families. Additionally, these flyers are posted on each school's online flyerboard.
COVID GUIDANCE
On August 11, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) eased its COVID-19 guidance for schools. Based upon the updated CDC recommendations, we are asking everyone in our school community to continue to take steps this school year to help mitigate the spread of illness in our schools:
If your child is sick, please keep them home and report the illness to your school's health office.
If your child tests positive for COVID-19, they should stay home for at least 5 days and until symptoms have improved. Please report the illness to your school’s health office. Upon return to school, face masks are recommended and respected, but not required.
Per the CDC, close contacts no longer need to quarantine under the latest guidance.
Thank you for your cooperation and partnership in helping keep our schools healthy.
FUTURE 101 EVENT-Monday, October 3rd

PSAT-Saturday, October 15th 8:00 am
This is an optional test for juniors wanting to qualify for National Merit status and sophomores/juniors seeking practice for college entrance exams. Only juniors and sophomores may take the exam.
Questions? Contact Julie.Peterson@isd194.org or 952-232-3306.
The PSAT measures: critical reading skills, math problem-solving skills, & writing skills. Students have developed these skills over many years, both in and out of school. This test does not require students to recall specific facts from classes.
Who and why should students take this test?
● Sophomore or junior looking for a practice exam with feedback
● Receive feedback on strengths and weaknesses on skills necessary for college study. Students can
then focus their preparation on those areas that could most benefit from additional study or
practice.
● See how the performance on an admissions test might compare with that of others applying to
college.
● Enter the competition for scholarships from National Merit (grade 11 only).
● Help prepare for the SAT. Students become familiar with the questions and the exact directions
you will see on the SAT.
● Receive information from colleges when you check "yes" to Student Search Service.
Visit the Official College Board Student Guide for practice:
https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/psat-nmsqt-psat-10
Exam will be held at Lakeville South. Cost is $30
