valentines day, a day of love in February, it is named after a man known as st. Valentine, it is unclear what the history of valentines day is exactly, but there are beliefs that st. valentine was a priest who served in the third century of Rome under the Emperor Claudius-II decide that single men were better soldiers than men with families. so st. valentine went against the Emperor and continued to marry young people until the Emperor discovered his treachery and sentenced him to death.
