Mrs. Green's 6th Grade English Newsletter
Welcome to 6th Grade English!
Hello Parents!
What a great start to the school year! I am so proud of the fantastic effort the students have made in starting off their middle school career. I have let them know that I have high expectations of each of them and am here to help them all achieve success. With that in mind, please remind your student to:
- Be Prompt - Students are expected to arrive to class on time AND to turn in assignments on time.
- Be Prepared - Students are expected to come to class, ready to learn with pencils, notebooks and a CHARGED Chromebook. Many of our assignments are on the Chromebook, but we also complete in-class assignments and lessons on paper.
- Be Productive - Students are expected to remain on task during class, follow instructions the first time and submit well-thought-out assignments.
- Be Polite - Students are expected to be kind to themselves and others. I DO NOT tolerate bullying of any kind and will encourage each student to respect themselves and those around them. Students are expected to listen when someone is speaking during class discussion or when I am instructing.
