Locke- The Tabula Rasa / Coolye- The looking glass self / Mead- Role taking.
John locke- English philosopher from the 1600s, said each of us are born without a personality.
- Sociologist, Charles Cooley developed concept of the looking glass self based on the process in which we develop ourselves based on how we imagine we appear to others.
- American philosopher, George Mead developed views that we not only see ourselves as others see us but actually take on or pretend to take the roles of others.
