Have you noticed the Print Shop's new look? Here are some of the updates that you will see!
- Set individual pages to B/W or Color
- Tabs and custom pages– right click
- Color scheme and layout have been updated for easier navigation
- INSTANT Live preview
- Documents scaled to paper size
- Partial shipments
- Simplified cart page
- Fonts enlarged to make it easier to read
- HOT FOLDERS-NO LONGER NEEDED TO RESIZE FILES
- Combine full COLOR and Black and White orders in one cart-NO MORE SEPARATING
Print shop training will be available in August, and I highly suggest that either ICs or a designee from each department attend. You will find it very helpful to have someone in your department who really knows how to use this thing.
Flipgrid Overview
Update!- the NEW Google Earth
The NEW Google Earth launched this week and is WAY better than its predecessor. Some cool things to know:
- You can now use Google Earth in your Chrome Browser OR with an Android or iOS app.
- It works on Chromebooks!
- You can now rotate 360 degrees around a famous location. No longer do you get static, one sided views of 3D objects. (shift +drag to make it happen)
- You can revert back to your 2D happy place if you are like me and start to get motion sickness from all the rotating.
- Use "Voyager" in the menu to explore pre-made tours.
- Click the dice icon to choose a random spot on the globe to explore (This is called "I'm feeling lucky")
- Share your favorite spots on Google Earth on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, or by getting a link to the area you are exploring.
