Christmas Decorations Donations
We are in need of Christmas trees for our campus. If you need an excuse for buying a new tree, please donate your old tree to the campus. Ms. Shaw, our library assistant, would like a 8-10 ft tree for the library.
Attendance Matters!
DeSoto ISD wants to share tips with our parents/guardians on how to decrease attendance issues and avoid truancy by encouraging parents/guardians to be involved with homework, set a time for your child to go to bed, inform your child's teacher or other campus personnel when he/she will be absent.
DeSoto ISD encourages students to THINK BEFORE YOU POST
- Keeping with the district’s FOCUS initiative which hones in on Finance, Organizational Redesign, Campuses and Classrooms, Unity and Systems and sustainability, DeSoto ISD urges everyone to think before you post (Systems and Sustainability)!

All students will receive an entry into a drawing for a free Six Flags ticket to be used at anytime for every paid PTA membership. November is Native American Heritage Month
November is Native American Heritage Month, or as it is commonly referred to, American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month.
The month is a time to celebrate rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories and to acknowledge the important contributions of Native people. Heritage Month is also an opportune time to educate the general public about tribes, to raise a general awareness about the unique challenges Native people have faced both historically and in the present, and the ways in which tribal citizens have worked to conquer these challenges.
