October 2020

News from the Principal's Desk

Students are continuing virtual learning until October 14, 2020 where another determination will be made based on the county wide data. Please continue to watch the website, your email, and other social media for the most up-to-date information.

If you would like to discuss your child's education, please contact me and/or your child's teacher to begin to develop a learning plan that meets the needs of your child and your family.

We're continuing our core behavioral teaching of ‘The Viking Way’. Even in virtual instruction, we’ve been highlighting three key values to encourage positive behavior and school pride. We realize these core values are important whether we are learning virtually or in-person.

· BE SAFE

· BE RESPECTFUL

· BE RESPONSIBLE

Please continue to support these positive behaviors at home and at school!

If you have any questions or concerns, please call the Gibraltar Elementary office at 920-868-3284 ext 283.

September Assembly

CORE CHARACTER TRAIT: RESPECT

On September 30, 2020 the Elementary School held the first virtual assembly of the year.

The school also recognized an outstanding student from each grade level that exemplified RESPECT throughout the entire month of September. Teachers nominated these students and Mr. Annen recognized these students at the September Assembly.

The following students were recognized:

Kindergarten - Virgina Eferem

1st Grade - Dominic Englebert

2nd Grade - Henry Bristol

3rd Grade - Erik Wolfe

4th Grade - Azucena Jauregui

5th Grade - Hobbs Emerson

October's key value is RESPONSIBILITY. Teachers, staff, and students will be defining, discussing, and modeling positive behaviors highlighting RESPONSIBILITY. Please have your little vikings tell how they are responsible in school and at home!
