You can track your scholar's word totals at home through aisd.me/millionais.
AISD Million Word Website: https://sites.google.com/alvaradoisd.net/aisdmillion/home

Watch out for Educators and Scholars during drop off and pick up!
Morning drop off does not begin until 7:20am. Please do not release scholars and drive away until staff members are in place and directing traffic. Scholars should remain in their vehicles until an AIS Staff member directs them to exit.
Staff members stand in the middle of our two lanes to ensure that every scholar makes it to their vehicle and that cars remain stopped. When staff members signal cars may move, please do not change lanes until after you pass every AIS staff member in the driveway. Our goal is always to ensure safety and learning. Please partner with us to keep pick up and drop off safe.
Dropping off and Picking up from AIS
Morning Drop Off at AIS
Safety is our highest priority during elementary school drop off.
Morning drop off does not begin until 7:20 a.m. No scholar should be left unattended.
Scholars dropped off by car in the morning must be let out in the AIS car line. Please follow AIS staff directions as you move through the car line.
Parking lot spaces are reserved for parents who need to enter the office for assistance. If a parent is entering the office, their scholar may walk with them from the parking lot to the campus office.
No scholars should be dropped off in the staff parking lot or in the bus lane.
Afternoon Pickup - Traffic Flow at AIS
The AIS Car Pick Up Line has only one lane for cars when turning into the campus. The left lane is for buses only. The bus lane should not be blocked for any reason.
Car pickup at AIS requires a Car Pick Up Card for the 23/24 school year. If you do not have a Car Pick Up Card, you will need to park, enter the office, and show ID. You will be issued a temporary pickup card and will be asked to re-enter the car line to pick up your student. Even if your student is a bus rider, please keep Car Pickup Cards in a safe location for possible use during the year.
Additional Information:
- We do not release from the front office after 3:00pm
- To change a scholar's method of going home, call the front office before 3:00pm. We will deliver the message to the teacher.
