Happy Pi Day!
3.2.20
Do we get to eat pie on Pi Day?
The simple answer? Yes! The mathematical number Pi is used to calculate the area of a circle, and its first three digits are 3.14. Pie, the dessert, is traditionally baked in a circular pan, which makes it the perfect treat for March 14, or 3.14. Also, eating some pie on March 14th is a great way to wish Albert Einstein a Happy Birthday! Curious to learn more? You can read all about it here and read down for all kinds of great ways to celebrate 3.14 :)
We use Pi to design a ferris wheel
To understand the age of a tree
And yum what's Pi Day without pie?!
What pi sounds like
Last but not least, here's some Pi(e) to try at home :)
