Dear Families...
It's Practicum Time! Dripping Springs, June 29th - July 1st
A couple outstanding needs...
If you'd like to assist our Registration and Hospitality teams in welcoming families and providing treats for our leaders, please contact Autumn Kerr (autumnkerr@gmail.com) for Registration and Kimberly Jacobi (kimberlyjacobi.cc@yahoo.com) for Hospitality.
Please contact Amanda Carrillo (acarrillo@classicalconversations.com) if you are able and willing to come as early as 7am on the first day and help setup. Extra hands are greatly appreciated! :)
Lastly, we are in need of teen helpers who have a heart to volunteer their time to love our kiddos in camps. If you have a teen or know of a teen who would like to receive volunteer hours, please contact Adrianne Collins (centraltexas.cc.admn@gmail.com).
Introducing Our Speaker...
MORNING AND AFTERNOON SESSION: Bryce Carlisle
Bryce and Lorie Carlisle are the busy parents of five boys. Bryce teaches Rhetoric and serves as the Senior Class Dean and Director of the Thesis Program at Regents School of Austin. Bryce started teaching in 2004 at Trinity Academy in Raleigh, North Carolina. Prior to teaching, Bryce got his MDiv at Princeton Theological Seminary and his BA in Spanish Literature from the University of Kansas. Prior to taking care of all these boys, Lorie was a professional geologist. Bryce and Lorie are still newcomers to homeschooling and have been so grateful for the encouragement, support and incredibly rich resources that the Classical Conversations community provide. The Carlisles are members of All Saints Presbyterian Church in Austin.

Afternoon Sessions:
There are two break-out groups each afternoon:

-->Main Session for everybody else. This time will start off with a program demonstration/information and Q&A. There will then be a book break followed by some fun activities as we learn LOGIC together. Get ready!
Bookstore: The Bookstore will be open from 8:30am – 4:15pm each day of the Practicum. Purchasing from the bookstore keeps practicums free to parent participants and supports local campuses and international mission campuses.

If you are registered for Classical Conversations in the fall, and have not yet purchased your materials or a book needed is not available at the time of Practicum, this is a great opportunity to avoid shipping fees.
