In Case You Missed It:

Thank you for everyone which showed their support for Love the Bus week. Our drivers work hard daily to transport our students to and from school safely. Many times they are the first ones reporting when they see things "not quite right" at our student's homes and communicating with admin when a child shared that they are in need of some type of assistance. Our drivers were showered with cards, cookies, lunch, and lots of thank you's. We are very fortunate to have such caring and committed people in this crucial role at SanLee.

PTSO officers and volunteers distributed candy on Friday. We believe the weather kept several families from remembering and/or retrieving their orders. They will be making contact with those families to remind them on Monday and Tuesday. We have a wonderful supportive group of parents at SanLee. We could not do all we do without them.

Mrs. Twigg reported that Christina Reed was the recipient of a Davidson's Steak gift certificate. Her homeroom sold the most magazine subscriptions. More information will be coming soon about student prizes (cash grab, bingo and pizza party).

A MEGA Shout Out goes to The Eighth Grade Team for pulling together when they learned suddenly Mr. Goins would no longer be teaching with us. They made sure the six classes he taught did not miss a beat by pulling together plans, running copies, cleaning and straightening up the room and getting passwords and logins. Cindy Quiggle has agreed to deliver science instruction to all 8th graders using Vidyo and Gracie Williams has agreed to keep things running like a Stallion classroom..."Whatever it takes!"
