Written announcements:
Happy Birthday: Fidel E., Teagan P.
Bearcats: Dakota S. Dakota is an amazing person that takes on responsibilities above and beyond what a normal eighth grader should. Her determination to do well and her hard work will take her anywhere she wants to go. She is a role model for those around her because she demonstrates what it means to be a CBE Bruin - she is extremely responsible, respects herself and others, and is always ready to learn. Thank you Dakota!
Skyhawks: Silas R. Silas is a great example of what it means to be a Bruin. The Skyhawk team appreciates his hard work.
Mustangs: Hannah S. Hannah is a rockstar student! She is always on time and brings her supplies. In class she participates by answering questions, asking for help when she needs something explained, and is a great partner to work with. Keep up the good work!
Seahawks: Alicia W. Alicia's smile lights up the room she is in. She is fun, energetic, and well liked by her peers. She takes control of her learning by being a self-advocate. Keep working hard Alicia.
Broncos: Yahye A. Yahye is a quiet guy, but his wheels are always turning, and he has great thoughts. He is attentive and does his very best work. Yahye is patient with his classmates and sets a good example by his behavior.
Eagles: Hadley E. Hadley is one of a kind and a pure genuine young girl. She shows great character on a daily basis by being respectful, responsible, persistent, and always puts in her best effort. She is a leader on our team and is kind to her peers. Keep it up Hadley, you're a rockstar!
Tomcats: Danka B. Danaka is one of the kindest people you will meet. She is always coming to class with a smile on her face and ready to get to work. She is responsible, respectful and is someone that people like to be around. The Tomcats are extremely lucky that Danaka is on our team.
The Great North Pole would like to help local children and families in need during the holiday season. The organization provides Holiday boxes with household items and other basic needs related items. CBE has a limited number of designated slots. If this is something your family needs, please call the counseling office {701-446-1711} or have your student stop down to pick up a form. Forms are due by November 14th and will be on a first come first served basis. Please call with any questions.
7B2 Girls Volleyball Team - Please turn your jerseys into Ms. Ilkka or the office as soon as possible. We need these ASAP!
If you have any eyeglasses that you no longer use or need, please donate those to the office. We have a collection box for eyeglasses for the Lion’s Club. They distribute the glasses to those in need.
By now many of you have seen a ton of blue hats being worn around the school. That is because October is national bully prevention month and the color blue represents awareness, peace, and solidarity. Blue is the color to wear in support of anti-bullying. So on this coming Monday, which is Halloween, please join us in a “Blue Out” and wear your blue hats and blue clothes to stand up against bullying. If you have not received a blue hat and would like one, please let Mrs. Collins know.
Happy Last Day of Quarter 1
