We are excited to announce that Miller Elementary will be receiving $500 in PE incentives from Kroger and United Way for the participation from the 21 Day Challenge. Thank you to all the parents that participated.
WINTER CARPOOL ARRIVAL
On days when temperatures and/or wind chill are below 32 degrees, safety patrol will be unable to assist outside. Due to the lack of help from our safety patrol, please encourage your students to exit on the curb side and enter the building. There will be Miller Staff outside to greet students and assist in the event you have a special need. We will be taking students in through the normal South entrance near the gym as well as POD 1 Kinder/1st back entrance. This will make the process of getting in during the winter days more efficient. Thank you for your help!
January Guidance Lessons
This month during classroom guidance, we will be discussing child victimization such as strangers, touch, hurts and secrets. Students are encouraged to create a list with their parents or adults that can be trusted to help them through an uncomfortable situation should it arise. The skills that are being taught will help create an awareness of how to avoid becoming a victim in uncomfortable/dangerous situations.
