Thank you Nurse Vikki!
Hats off to Vikki this week as we celebrate Nurse's Week and School Nurse Appreciation Day on Wednesday! Our district nursing team is awesome and has done such a great job throughout the Covid pandemic. We at RWHS are lucky to have Vikki on our team!
WINGER RUN!
We will have our First Annual Winger Run on Sunday, May 15, at 1:00pm!!! It is a 5K and will be held on the high school cross country course. You may choose to walk if you prefer, and if you only want to complete part of the course, that is fine, too!
This will be a great event, with proceeds going to the Hope Coalition and Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge. So come and have fun with your friends while getting splashed with color and raising money for a great cause! Open to all ages and to our whole community!
Cost is $20. That includes a t-shirt, registration fees, and the color.
Just click on the first link below to order your t-shirt and register. The order must be placed by May 1st at 11:59pm. You may register the day of the race, but t-shirt supplies will be limited if you don't register ahead of time. Click on the second link for the statement of release form, which is required to participate. You can print it and fill it out in advance, or there will be blank copies the day of the event.

FREE TRANSCRIPTS!
t's that time of year when you request your final transcripts be sent to any college or job that requires it. You have been sent two emails from the counseling department with printed and video instructions for requesting this free transcript through the new Parchment Transcript Service. The link is provided in your email. If you forget to do this, you will have to pay for it after July 1, so add this important step to your To-Do List! Make sure you choose HOLD FOR GRADES from the drop-down list.

GRADUATION ARTWORK NEEDED!
Please consider submitting artwork for the 2022 GRADUATION COMMENCEMENT PROGRAM and/or the 2022 SENIOR BREAKFAST (this takes place the morning of graduation for your class). If you want to see past examples, I have them in my room, but really anything 2D is eligible. The administration generally prefers the use of limited colors due to printing costs, and portrait layout is typically preferred as well.
Please consider submitting work!
Submissions are due to Mrs. Bray by Wednesday, May 18.
Bidding now open!
Red Wing High School Social Studies teacher Scott Bender is retiring this spring after 30 years of teaching! In those years, he
's accumulated a multitude of colorful and festive ties. More than 70!
Every school day for the rest of the year, Mr. Bender will post a picture of the tie to be auctioned. The person with the highest bid at the end of the day will WIN the tie!
