Important Classroom Information
- Parents please see the flyer about the Math Night. This is a great informative night to help understand our math standards and the math practices. Please try to attend.
- Please remember to have your child get on RAZ kids 4 nights a week. This can take the place of reading 20 minutes.
- Please see notes below regarding homework this week and our lunch feast on Monday November 23.
Homework
This week homework has been sent home in the form of a packet. This is a review packet of information we have done over the past few months. Each reading passage (close reads) has questions and also has a graphic organizer for students to use while reading a short passage. Each math page is a cumulative review of math we have done over the past few months. Each story and each math page is worth 10 pts. each. This is a great opportunity for students to raise their grades. Please contact me with any questions you may have.
Monday November 23rd.
On Monday November 23rd I will be buying a pizza lunch for the class:) It is the end of the first trimester and lots of hard work has been taken place in class. I am sending home a sign up sheet in case you would like to send in any kind of snack.
Social Studies: Delaware Day Project
We have been working so hard in learning about the consitution: why it happened, when it happened, Delaware's role in it, etc. We have been taking notes and are in the process of putting all of our information on to posters. We will have judges come in on Friday to judge all of our information and hard work we have been doing. Ask your child what they are learning about the constitution.
