What is binge drinking?
Binge drinking or heavy episodic drinking is a modern epithet for drinking alcoholic beverages with the primary intention of becoming intoxicated by heavy consumption of alcohol over a short period of time.
How can binge drinking affect you and me?
Binge Drinking has the potential to change a person's ways and personality. If you become dependent on binge drinking for fun, it's not possible to have fun without it. Without it, you may become angry and disturbed. This may cause your relationships to fade. It will also detriment your physical and mental health.
A victim of Binge Drinking
Ali was a freshman at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, in the Honors Program at the School of Business on a scholarship. She had been drinking shots of hard liquor, passed out and lay unconscious for hours while others partied around her, afraid to get her help. She was a beautiful, physically fit girl. But her body could not handle what the students were doing that night.
