Colombia has frequent landslides. Official language is Spanish. Population is 47,872,000. President: Juan Manuel Santos. Bogota lies at 8,000 feet above sea level. Official name is Republic of Colombia. Elevations below 3,000 feet known as the hot lands. Catholic religious is taught in most school.
