News You Can Use for November

A Note From Mrs. Murphy......

Happy November Larson Families,

We are excited to be sending out another newsletter that is full of information and upcoming events for November and the beginning of December! The holidays are fast approaching and we have lots of activities planned.

First of all, thank you for your remarkable participation in Parent Teacher Conferences this year. We know it was a switch to phone calls at the last minute, but we are grateful for your flexibility and support. Our teachers are doing amazing things for our students, and I am happy they were able to connect and share with you. Our school wouldn’t be as successful without your partnership and collaboration.

A BIG THANK YOU for your patience during the Bus Driver Shortage. We are so excited to be back on track with bussing 5 days a week. Just a reminder: To avoid the lines for pick up, plan to come after 3:45, the lines are much shorter and PLEASE TURN RIGHT at Seldon, this helps everyone get home faster and safer.

Don’t forget that there is NO School on November 11th. Happy Veteran’s Day! Thank you to all of our Veterans in our community. We honor you.

Can you believe it---Thanksgiving is just a few short weeks away! No School on November 25 & 26 and I hope that you get to spend the holiday relaxing with your family, playing games and feasting.

We are also excited to be bringing back Craft Night on December 3, you can read the flyer attached for more information. This event is sponsored through Title 1 funding and sure to be a blast.

It’s getting cold, so don’t forget to send kids to school with warm gear. We go outside up to -10 below, regardless of whether we have snow or not.

On behalf of our entire staff, I just wanted to say HAPPY THANSKGIVING! We are all thankful you are part of our Larson Family.

Also, TOMORROW- Wednesday, November 10th is our next FTA meeting at 4:15pm in the library. We have several things to go over and look forward to seeing all members there.
