We Need Student/Parent Email Forms Returned ASAP!

Dear SHS Families,

Scituate High is now ready to assign all students a Scituate School Dept. email address. This email will allow students and teachers to collaborate and communicate on a whole new level. Unfortunately, we are unable to allow students to access their new school email until a parent/ guardian consent form is signed and returned.

We will be rolling out student emails on Monday, November 6th - Please print, sign, and return the form on or before Monday, November 6th. If a form is not returned, student will not be allowed access to the new email.

Teachers are excited to utilize the new educational tools such as Google Suite for Education but are unable to do so until students have access to their new emails.

Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Please email or call with any questions or concerns.

From Project Lead the Way Biomedical Science

On Saturday, HOSA members and biomedical pathway seniors were invited to participate in Meet the Cadaver at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Students spent the day in a variety of workshops, with the highlight being the anatomy lab. Students met with a panel of medical, nursing and pharmacy students and were able to ask questions regarding each career. Then students learned how to triage a patient using the OPQRST method and learned to take vital signs in the clinical suites. Finally, we entered the anatomy lab where we were able to view the cadavers. Students were able to hold hearts, lungs and touch organs in the lab and were able to view cancerous organs, pace makers and how muscles work.

From Our Athletic Boosters

Football Senior night is in the books, and we are very proud of these boys!! They found themselves down big early, but never gave up. They held Juanita Sanchez scoreless for the second half, all while posting a field goal, a safety, a 50+ yard run for a TD by Danny Dwyer, and a surprise fake extra point run for 2 by Zack Simonelli!!

We'd also like to thank a few families for all of their help in setting up the concession stand. It takes a village to get this done when your team plays their home games at another school.

Thank you to Erin and Dave Pannone, Rachel and John Rubiano, Jen Pierce, Stephanie and Brian Piccolo, Sandy Stuard, Gillian Langton and Steve Riccitelli for all of your help!!
