It is hard to believe that the school year is already upon us! I hope you all had a wonderful summer. Now it's back to basics and off to providing a rich and rewarding educational experience for your children. I believe the staff here is a staff that is extraordinary! They are qualified, faith filled and warm and caring. I's amazing that I know this after only a short time here. I think we will have a fantastic year ahead of us.

With so many changes happening at SAS, please keep positive and have Faith that this year will be excellent. Change can be a good thing! We wish to thank Fr. O'Brien for stepping in as our interim pastor and welcome Fr. Bob from St. Cecilia's. We are truly blessed to have Fr. Bob Bruso join us this year as he is a big advocate for Catholic Education and is happy to be here.

The first few days back at school went wonderfully! We are looking forward to seeing our PK students on Tuesday. Older students participated in an assembly to review our goals for the year and policies and procedures. We reviewed the student handbook and our policy of living our lives as WWJD (what would Jesus do) in treating others with respect and kindness. These tools will play a key role into this year being a successful one. Please complete and submit student handbook pages this week.

We take pride in who we are. We are SAINT ANNA SCHOOL! and we are proud to serve our families. Go Tigers!!

I have an open door policy and can be reached by email should you have and questions or concerns. (

Thank you and God bless,

Mrs. Veilleux

Schedules and bus routines

Arrival and departure routine: There has been a slight change in dismissal and arrival routines. Please note that our PK students will be utilizing the drop off procedure this year. We appreciate your patience as we work out the details. All students should stay in their cars and proceed to the drop off spot. If you are parking across the street, do so and be mindful of the overflow vehicles wishing to take that left turn into the driveway. This lane is overflow for those taking the left into the school driveway. It is our priority to keep your children safe while expediting the process. Thank you for your cooperation!

SAS will continue utilizing Papa Gino's for our lunch program until further notice. We currently will be working toward a replacement vendor to provide lunches. During September our lunches will remain $3 with the school board covering the difference with a price change . In October lunches will go up to $4 and November to $5. It is our hope to replace Papa Gino with a new alternative before January. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

New Updated Science Curriculum

Over the summer a committee was formed to review the science curriculum. After several months, recommendations, and evaluations, we have purchased a new curriculum that meets NGSS and aligns with MAP testing. It should be arriving soon. Special thanks to all that worked to bring our science curriculum up to date.
