Principal's Notes
We are looking forward to our 4th-6th grade concert next week, Lights! Camera! Action! on November 15, 2018. Prairie View is lucky to be the first elementary school to have a concert in the Greenwald Foundation Performing Arts Center. Please see Mr. Hackbarth's note sent home this week regarding parking and bringing your children to the correct location for the performance. No outside guests will be allowed to attend the rehearsal at the high school. Guests who cannot attend the evening performance may come to the student performance at 2:30 on the day of the performance. We are looking to seeing many PVES families at this beautiful new facility!
Reminder on start times

- Students that visit their physician’s office or clinic for diagnosis and treatment and are started on antibiotics for bacterial infection (strep throat, pink eye, etc.) should be home from school until 24 hours after antibiotic treatment was initiated.
- Students presenting with vomiting and/or diarrhea (three or more loose stools in 24 hours) should be home from school and be free of vomiting and/or diarrhea for a minimum of 24 hours before returning to school.

Our school will once again be involved in artsonia.com, the world’s largest online gallery of student artwork and everyone should have recently received an activity update slip. Email me with questions or concerns.
Also, we will not be doing the Original Works fundraiser this year, so please consider Artsonia as a way to help out our school. The artsonia.com website has amazing gifts and keepsakes for the holidays and any piece of artwork that your child has created can be used. Prairie View receives 20% of all purchases.
