South Carolina Book Nominees
All students should be reading the South Carolina Book Award Nominees. There are 20 for K5-2nd and 20 for 3rd-5th. Students must read 3 of these books in order to vote for their favorite that last week of February.
Students in 4th and 5th grade will have the opportunity to once again participate in the Battle of the Books (B.O.B). Letters will go home with students next week and they will have a chance to read the 20 books and practice answering questions about these books in groups of 4-5 on a team. District competition will be held in May.
