Wolf Notes

WI Family Newsletter - September 25-29 , 2023

Note from your Admin

Wolf Families,

It was wonderful seeing everyone at the Annual Family Picnic. Beautiful weather, laughter, smiles, and foam party! We love our WI family. A huge thank you to our amazing PTO for putting this all together and to all the volunteers who made this a great night!

Our annual Fun Run kick-off will be on Monday, September 25th for all students and staff. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. We would like to have all students wear their grade-level colors. See the flyer below to verify your grade level colors.

This year, our school is raising funds for an outdoor classroom. Our goal is to raise $35,000, and, if you’d like to, we are inviting YOU to help!

Here’s how you can support Washington Irving Es:

Thank you for supporting our school!. We can’t wait for the Washington Irving Es Fun Run happening on 10/06/2023! If you would like to volunteer to help deliver prizes or on the day of the Fun Run, please click the buttons below! We need your help.

During dismissal, it would be helpful for all families picking up by car to be in the loop by 3:40. We are wrapping up dismissal at this time and it will be faster to have everyone in line so we can efficiently get your student to you. We need to help our teachers get off duty and prepare for the next day.

The following are our Great Expectations focus for the week:

Call Back: “You haven't failed - until you have stopped trying.”

Life Principle of the Week: Responsibility: making the choice to be reliable and dependable.

Quote of the Week: "The choices we make dictate the life we lead." ~unknown

One Pack One Purpose! Go Wolves!

Wishing you well,

Angie Zeiler and Amanda Lonberg

Admin, Washington Irving Elementary
