Illusionist & Winner of India's Magic Star - Star One
In the world of fickle careers, and changing paths, Tejas had made up his mind about what he wanted from life at a tender age of 10 years. It was a decision that changed his life. His goal was to be a performer like no other. His vision was followed by a tremendous amount of effort in learning various techniques and mastering the craft of Magic. Throughout the years he has undergone in depth study of not only magic but also other subjects like psychology.
All the hard work he had put in got him the National Award in magic. But success is when you can repeat something. So he got the award once again. However this was just the start. Tejas went on to participate in the reality show India's Magic Star in year 2010. He was the grand winner eventually. This earned him nationwide recognition, and adulation. Tejas believes in continuous improvement. His next goal was to go on a larger platform. He performed in the biggest magic show in Asia at Kingdom of Dreams. Kingdome of Dreams is the epitome of ultimate Indian experience. Its one show that translates the spectacle and mystique that surrounds the Indian arts. The show is targeted keeping into the mind an audience that is very mature and wants to know what India stands for. In a way this was like representing the whole country for Tejas and thus a very important achievement.
Being a celebrity himself did not stop him from working with one of the biggest names in showbiz. Some of the notable names from the long list have stars like Hrithik Roshan, Jeniffer Winglet, Jackie Shroff, Sonu Nigam and Teena Dutta. Tejas played a major part in marketing and PR of a recent hit movie – Gujaarish, in which the protagonist is a magician. He performed at the press conference along with Hrithik Roshan, and also trained him for the magic tricks for his television appearance. It was the most natural thing for him, as he is well known for being the youngest magic teacher (19 years) in India.
One would think that he has got everything a performer could hope for, but surely there are many more feathers awaiting Tejas's cap in years to come.
