Cavalier Caller (Parent Edition)
Vol. 12 LTHS Week of 10/23 to 10/29
We survived HOCO Week
Thank you for a successful Homecoming Week 2017! Our PTO parent volunteers were amazing putting together our first ever Homecoming Extravaganza. The parade, the game, and the dance were absolutely amazing. Speaking of the dance, your students were incredible on Saturday night. Before you know it, we will be planning next year's activities.
We are in the second quarter and please let us know if you or your child still has questions about the secret world of LTHS. No secrets, just lots of info to learn about our school.
Go Cavs!
Gordon Butler, Principal
Bond/TRE Information
On Monday, October 23, registered voters who reside within Lake Travis ISD will have an opportunity to decide the outcome of two propositions affecting our district—a bond election and a Tax Ratification Election, or TRE.
If you have not done so already, I ask that you please take a moment to review the materials posted on our Bond and TRE website. There are a number of resources that explain these elections in great detail including our 2017 demographic update, bond budget and listing of components, full slide presentation, previously recorded Facebook Live presentation, TRE explainer video, video library, frequently asked questions and voting information.
While you may vote at any polling location within Travis County, each of our campuses will serve as an early voting mobile location. These mobile locations are intended to provide you with convenient access to cast your ballot. Please be sure to review the list of campus early voting mobile locations.
Most importantly VOTE!

Article of Note
This is actually a blog that I like to read because it makes me think. I don't agree with everything the author writes about, but learning has to make you uncomfortable sometimes.
