There were 2,400 American men and 1,500 hessian men that fought in the Battle of Trenton.

They cross the Delaware river to the sight of the battle.

As the battle continued the Americans didn't back down.
Hero's
Many people became famous for the heroic things they did.
Hessians
the hessians wore red while Americans wore blue.

The Hessian army was led by Colonel Johann Rall.
Hessian troops
The Hessians were German Military conscripts- not volunteers.
At the end of course ;-) the Americans won.
