HAPPY MONDAY!
Good morning--
I hope you had a wonderful weekend and were able to recoup from that fun-filled American Education Week. It was truly an awesome five days. Great outfits, great food, and a great opportunity to celebrate education and the people who make it happen here at FHN.
Thank you to KOE for all that they did to make this a special week for our staff.
I truly work in a special place with special people. Thanks again for all you do and enjoy your well-deserved spring break...it is just four days away.

CELEBRATIONS
- Congratulations to the 120 NHS inductees. The NHS ceremony was great. Thank you Mrs. Malkmus and Mrs. Mason.
- The FHN/Confluence Prep Gateway 2 Change team presented their ideas about how a STEM school could help address issues of equity and access in St. Louis on Friday. They did a great job articulating their ideas in front of a big group.
- Thank you to KOE for an awesome American Education Week celebration.
ATTENDANCE
Knights @ 90: Currently FHN has 88.2% of students attending 90% of the time. It is critical that we continue to show students why being at school every day is part of their overall success. As we move into the Spring months, our attendance numbers do not usually go up. We need some extra attention to this issue in order to pull ourselves closer to 90%. Thank you.
CLIMATE
Climate Committee met on February 27th to review the results of the 3rd quarter climate survey. They decided it would be best to share that information in a small group setting during the next faculty meeting. During that meeting we will look at the data and trends in the comments. If you'd like to view the full print out of all comments, please let me know and we can schedule a time to look at it together.
Don't forget to stop in the LC Wednesday morning for doughnuts and coffee!
