We Are A.R.M.Y. Strong!!

"As a member of the Continental Army, I promise to be Accountable, Respectful, Motivated to Learn, and do mY best." Our vision is to ensure that all students are WMS ARMY Strong and are prepared for high school, college and careers.

Kicking into High Gear

With the first full week in the rearview mirror, it is now my personal favorite time of year. Students are accustom to school and ready to maximize all of the opportunities before them. To do this they and we will need your continued support. Students will have nightly homework and will continue to be held to high standards through the proficiency grading system. This system incidentally will be incorporated into the new ILearn that students will be taking this spring. The bottom line to both the Washington system of assessment and Indiana's is growth. Students come to us wherever they are at. Our task is to push their growth beyond even what they thought possible.

1. Get signed up for Penny Lane Study Cafe even before retakes are needed

2. Complete HW on a nightly basis and read for 30min if they have no HW

3. Check RDS weekly to stay on top of student progress.

Important Information

  • Students who have their phones on them or out during the day will result in the phone being taken placed in the front office for parent pick-up.

  • Chromebooks and Chromebook chargers that are left laying in the cafe, gyms, hallways, or classrooms will be returned to the library. Students will be required to sign their Chromebook back out. Students who have been irresponsible with their Chromebook more than three times may lose their opportunity to take their device home.
