As your school counselor, it is my job to give you relevant academic information as it pertains to your 4-year graduation plan, and post-graduation plans, and get you back on track if you are credit deficient.
It is also my job to provide you with mental health information, strategies, and resources to help you make the best of your high school experience. Please contact me if you need anything; I am here to help :)

- I serve the 10th through 12th-grade students with last names A-E this year.

Sophomore and Junior Important Dates:
May 5th - 12-week grade celebration
Friday, June 3rd - Period 1 Final
Monday, June 6th (minimum day) Period 2 and 5 finals
Tuesday, June 7th (minimum day) Period 3 and 6 finals
Wednesday, June 8th (minimum day) Periods 4 and 7 finals

Parent Information for the 22-23 School Year
Parents need to log in to the parent portal and complete the registration process for the 22-23 school year. Please direct parents to these resources if they have questions
The annual online registration for 2022-2023 is now open! Please log in to your parent portal account and complete it by March 05, 2022, to secure your student's course selection. You will be required to upload a Utility Bill if you have an incoming freshman. Please make sure to add them to your ‘Existing’ students registration.

Credit Recovery Information

Please read the steps below to obtain a work permit:
- Start by clicking on this link - Work Permit Information
- Make sure you qualify for a permit by reading the directions.
- Fill in the application, and get the documents needed- email Ms. Sifter at jennifer.sifter@puhsd.org a picture of everything. Her room number is L107.
- Once all of this is done the district will create your permit and email it back to you

Financial Aid for College (FAFSA/CADA)
Your first step is to download the app onto your phone. It is so much easier to use the app. Here is a link to the FAFSA Worksheet. FAFSA/CADA Worksheet will provide you with the information you need to collect in order to fill out the application!!

You need to complete it by March 2nd.
Don't stress, we will be giving workshops on how to complete the FAFSA over the next few weeks/months. BUT your first step should be to download the app!!

NCAA Eligibility Center
You need to be certified by the NCAA Eligibility Center to compete at an NCAA Division I or II school. This means you need to create a Certification Account by the end of your Sophomore Year.
You need to create a Certification Account to make official visits to Divisions I and II schools or to sign a National Letter of Intent.
NCAA DIII and NAIA schools do not require student-athletes to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center.
