Family Discussion
Think of people in your life who are examples of Christian living. In what ways do they encourage others to follow Jesus? How can the way you live encourage others to follow Jesus?
Pray together: Holy Spirit, fill us with your gentleness. Help us be kind in what we say and do. Amen.

Greetings!
What a crazy, fun week it's been. Such a joy to celebrate our Catholic school!
Congratulations to our two National Geographic Bee finalists Noah Frey and William Lirette. You represented fifth grade very well, and we are so proud of you!
Studying continues to be a very important part of fifth grade this time of year. In order to keep track, we will continue to use the homework logs. At a minimum, students have an hour of homework per night. In addition to the studying on the homework log, there is also passport, prayer tests, spelling tests, science and ELA quizzes. These are all on-going and require time management and planning. Your help is appreciated as we guide these students to independence in preparation for middle school.
I am sending home a class list for students to use for their Valentine cards. Our party will be on February 14 from 1:00-2:00. Students should make their Valentine container at home and bring it to school that day. Please make sure all classmates are included in cards. Thank you Mrs. Forth and Mrs. Shelton for planning the party.
That's all for now. . . .
Capre Diem!
