REGISTRATION

Registration: Students will take school photo, pick-up class list, school i.d., and books:

  • 8/13/19- 8th Grade; 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
  • 8/14/19 - 7th Grade; 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
  • 8/15/19 - 6th Grade; 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
  • 8/19/19 - Make-Up (if not able to attend above dates); All Grades - 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Registration begins in the MPR, students will pick up their class schedule and Raider Reminder. What happens once you enter the gym? School picture and i.d. card. Opportunity to purchase p.e. clothes, ASB card (offers discount to year book among other things), yearbook, and street locks (all of these items are optional). PTSA, Foundation, and information about our Fundraiser - Fallfest is available at different stations located inside the gym. Some club information also available.


8/20/19 - BMMS BEGINNINGS, Student Orientation


8/21/19 - First Day of School - School begins at 7:35 a.m.

Students who could not register on their assigned registration day will go to make-up registration. If you cannot make either date, you will register on the first day of school beginning at 7:00 a.m.

ON LINE REGISTRATION - 2 Steps

There are two steps to Registration:

STEP ONE: Complete Registration Packet Online


We are excited to launch our new online registration process for parents/guardians of students currently enrolled in PUSD. This new digital process will allow a family to complete one single “family” packet instead of completing one packet per student. Packets can be completed using any computer, tablet or smartphone with an internet connection. If you do not have access to any computing device, we will have one for you at August registration.


This new process contains three steps:

  1. Login and complete the digital registration packet by visiting the ParentVUE portal: https://sis.powayusd.com/Packet
  2. Print and sign the required forms located at the conclusion of the process. At this time, the State of California does not allow guardians/parents to electronically sign certain documents.

3. Return printed and signed documents.

Forgot your username or password? Need technical help?
You can retrieve your username as well as reset your password by visiting https://password.powayusd.com and clicking the button that represents the help you require. Technical help is also available by sending an email to sissupport@powayusd.com .


STEP TWO: Registration in August

In mid August you will come to Black Mountain to return paperwork, submit outstanding immunization record (7th grade only), get student picture/ID, pick up schedule, make any necessary purchases, and pick up textbooks.
August Registration Dates are:


August 13 - 8th Grade; 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

August 14 - 7th Grade; 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

August 15 - 6th Grade; 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.; 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (Academy students)

August 19 - Make-Up, if you were unable to attend time above, All Grade Levels, 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Enrollment

Students entering BMMS for the 1st time from a different school district may drop off enrollment packets at the front office Monday-Friday during our office hours listed above. Please call the office for an enrollment appointment at 858-484-1300.

PE Clothes will be sold during the first week of school during your child's p.e. class time.

PE Clothes $35.00 for shirt, shorts, lock, and bag. Checks are made payable to BMMS.
