Memorial Health Summer Volunteen Program
Memorial Health is now accepting applications for its 2023 Volunteen Program.
The Volunteen Program is for area students that are between the ages of 15-18 years old. These participants will gain experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center. We are seeking applicants that can commit to a minimum of 40 hours of service during six weeks.
The application deadline is Thursday, March 30, 2023.

Prom 2023
The Islands High School prom is a formal event for juniors and seniors. This year’s prom will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 at Savannah Station (601 Cohen Street Savannah, GA 31401) from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Tickets for the prom will go on sale through SchoolCash Online on Monday, January 9, 2023 and close on Thursday, March 9, 2023 or when 325 tickets have been sold. Tickets are $75 each. All guests must purchase tickets prior to attending the dance.

Reminder: Students are NOT allowed to wear sweatpants to school. Additionally, students must have visible uniform shirt on under their jackets and sweatshirt if worn. Students observed not in compliance with dress code will be expected to get compliant by reporting to uniform closet located in ISS and/or contact parent to bring appropriate clothing. Thank you for your partnership in helping us ensure our students are dressed for success. Please refer to our dress code located in the student handbook for clarification and for flex options already in place
HARD WORK CAFE - February
We will be recognizing students who have been working hard all semester and inviting them to attend come and celebrate at the Hard Work Cafe!!! It's a lunch and lounge reimagined with food (the food students like), fun, and music. To be invited, it's as easy as ABC (Attendance, Behavior, and passing Courses). Be on the look out and listen for the February eligibility requirements.

Athletics News
Islands High School Athletics Fundraiser!
Use the link below, or scan the QR in the flyer to purchase your tickets. 25% of all ticket sales generated by our link will come back to our athletics programs, so please share our flyer and spread the word!
All of our athletics programs will be recognized during an intermission, and selling more than 100 tickets will get our athletes on the ice after the game for pictures! We hope to see a sea of teal on Friday, March 31st ! GO SHARKS!
Golf Tryouts!
Tryouts will consist of skills testing: Hitting an Iron, Hitting a Driver, Chipping and Putting. Those candidates that show they have the skills necessary will be invited back for Day 2 of tryouts on Tuesday, Feb 7th (same time, same location). The second day will consist of some warm-ups on the driving range and some time on the course itself working your way through a couple holes.-
Please make sure to have an up to date physical on file! Email Coach Bankston at adelyn.bankston@sccpss.com if you are interested in trying out for the golf team.-
