Hello Shiloh MS Families!

Early release days for Parent/Teacher Conferences are Wednesday, October 18 and Thursday, October 19. The online sign-up window has opened, and you can now sign up for a conference with your student's teachers. Follow the instructions below to sign up for a conference.

How to Sign up for a Parent/Teacher Conference:

1. CLICK TO SIGN UP FOR A PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCE.
2. Select your student's team of teachers.
3. A form will appear. Fill out the form and click submit (you will be required to provide a valid email address).
4. Once you click submit, you will receive an email with a link that will allow you to register for your conference time (check spam/junk folder if you do not receive it). You will also get email reminders before the conference.
5. Click the link, and choose your time.
6. Once you have selected your time, scroll to the bottom and click the request box to indicate how you would like to attend your conference. It will look like this.

The students have started learning about the governments in Europe. Students will learn about the United Kingdom, Germany, and Russia governments.

The students are learning about governments of the Middle East! We have started Unit 4 in Social Studies, Political Developments of Southwest Asia. The students will learn about the various governments of Israel, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Iran.

Parents/Caregivers may follow one of the two options below if they do not want their child to participate in the EES survey. See the instructions below.

1. Students should charge their Chromebook every night.

2. Students should bring their charged Chromebook and the charger to school every day.

Shiloh Jr. HOSA is pleased to announce the Officers for the 2023-2024 School year. Please join us in congratulating these students!

The Shiloh MegaMindz First LEGO League Team is off to a great start this school year! We are currently collaborating to design our Innovation Projects for competition in December! This year’s theme is “Masterpiece”. The theme this year will challenge students to imagine and innovate new ways to create and communicate art across the globe. We are excited!

Due to early release, the art club will not be held on 10/18/23!

A parent or guardian must bring any / all medications to the school and fill out a medication administration form. Students are not allowed to carry any medications with them at school or on the bus. This includes any over the counter medication, for example; cough drops, Tylenol, etc. If you would like your child to have any OTC medication left in the clinic, you must bring to school with a completed medical authorization form.

To give us authorization to give your student their medication you will need to complete the Medication Authorization Form. You may print it, complete it, and bring it in or you can pick one up to complete in the clinic. A separate form is required for each individual medication.

If your student requires an inhaler and/or an Epi-pen you will need to complete the appropriate form.

For your student to be permitted to carry their inhaler and/or Epi-pen on their person, their physician will need to complete the section of our form advising us of their authorization. If the student will be carrying their inhaler and/or Epi-pen on their person, we ask that you also provide the clinic with a backup in case one is needed.
