Ms. Edwards: District II Honors Chorus
I wanted to congratulate the following students on making it into the District II Honors Chorus! It was an incredibly competitive year this year -- a very small percentage of students who audition at the middle school level are selected for the chorus. This year Whittier is sending three students: Bella Hartman, Scarlett Quimi, and Olivia Snowman. While these were the three selected, the rest of our students still scored very well and did a magnificent job in their auditions!

Tri-Town Family 5K
Whittier Middle School’s Tri-Town Family 5K will return to Minot’s beautiful trails and fields on Sunday, November 13th at 10:00am. Join us as we celebrate 11 YEARS!
Our event is open to everyone: students, their families, and the community. Thanks to our generous sponsors, we have always offered free registration! This event is about getting people outside and moving. No experience is necessary. Many people choose to walk the course as a way to support our students.
Registration is up and running on the Tri-Town Family 5K website.
I am looking for volunteers. We will need help at the event in several areas. Directing runners and walkers on the course is an easy way to help. Let me know if you are willing.
Mr. Wright: Belize 2024
If your student is going to be in high school during the 2023-2024 school year, then she/he is invited to join us on an upcoming educational travel experience to Belize in Spring 2024!
When students travel, they expand their knowledge of the world around them, discover more about themselves, and grow more confident. These skills are critical for creating the global citizens of tomorrow, and I would love to have your student join me on this adventure.
Come hear all about the itinerary, activities, academic opportunities, cost of the trip, and EF’s risk-free enrollment period at our informational Zoom meeting on October 27th at 6pm.
Please click here to register for the meeting ASAP to save your seat: https://bit.ly/3VtM56r
There are limited spots on this trip, so we would love to have you attend this meeting to learn more about this exciting opportunity!
Thank you and hope to see you there!
